Chas. Fenske and wife, Dan and Emma Brooks and Bessie Davis autoed down to City Point last Thursday after blueberries. All got their pails most full.

Mrs. Manda Tarbox and grandson Cecil expect to start for Miles City, Mont. on Friday.

Mrs. Nettie Wilcox took worse Sunday and Monday, but we are happy to say is on the gain now.

Mr. and Mrs. Brooks visited at Chas. Brooks’ Sunday.

Mr. Fred Hill and family and Morris Dickerson and family autoed to Tioga after blueberries Sunday.

Miss Alice Schwamb of Tioga is here on a visit at J. Davis’.

Mrs. Green’s father and mother left fast Sunday to go back home to Illinois.

Mr. and Mrs. J.P. Dawes and four others that were visiting Mrs. Dow, returned to Strongs Prairie Monday and Mrs. Una Miller and 2 sons returned to Marshfield.

Mel Blake and wife of Spencer were at Jason Phillips’ Friday.

Everybody is cutting grain. Some are still haying. Fair at Marshfield this week and everybody is hustling.

Last Friday the young people gave a free program and charged 10 cents for ice cream, cake and crackers. They should have charge for their play as it was as good as those for which you have to pay 25 cents. If the war last and they had to make their living, they could all turn to actors. Bless the young people anyway, they are what makes this world a place worth living in.
