Mrs. Albert Sterr Sr., 90, of Lomira, mother of Elmer Sterr of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), died March 9, 1962.

The former Minnie Franke was born in the town of Lomira, Dec. 11, 1871. She was married to Albert Sterr on March 26, 1889. She lived in the village of Lomira for 40 years.

Surviving are six sons, Elmer of Loyal; Arthur, Melvin, Roman, Albert and Lloyd, all of Lomira; 19 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren, and one sister, Mrs. Matt Zimmerman of Lomira. Her husband, three sisters and one brother preceded her in death.

The funeral services were held last Monday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Lomira. The Rev Carl Henning officiated and burial was in Graceland Cemetery, Mayville. Attending from here were Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Sterr and Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Lee.
