Mr. and Mrs. David Stucki
and two sons of Madison were weekend guests of his mother. Saturday, Mr. and
Mrs. Stucki and family and her mother Mrs. George Nielsen, and Glenn, attended a
Nielsen family reunion at Hancock.
Mr. and Mrs. Max Opelt of Granton
drove to Eau Claire Wednesday to meet their foster son, Gene Schoenherr, who is
returning from a tour of duty in Vietnam. Following a 30-day furlough, he will
report to Fort Riley, Kans.
John Opelt of Milwaukee spent Sunday and
Monday visiting his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Max Opelt.
Mr. and Mrs. Dick
Kapfer and family and his brother, Michael of Rockford, Ill., spent the weekend
with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Kapfer. Joining them for a weekend visit
were Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Kapfer and family of Wisconsin Rapids.
Mrs.
Alvina Duesterhoefd and her daughter, Mrs. Bartz, of Los Angeles, Cal., were
guests Friday of Mrs. Duesterhoefd’s brother and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard
Wachholz. Also visiting there Friday were Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Wachholz, Eugene
and James, of Westfield.
Wilbur Anderson, who drives a van, spent the
weekend with his mother, Mrs. Harry Anderson.
Dr. and Mrs. E. H. Brekke
attended the reunion of the class of 1947, of which Dr. Brekke was a member,
Saturday and Sunday in Stevens Point.
Mis Sheri Matheson of Waukesha
spent the weekend in Neillsville with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin
Evanson, and while here registered for the next school term at Wisconsin State
University--Eau Claire.
Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Evanson are planning to spend
the next weekend in Monticello, where, on Saturday, they will attend the wedding
of her grandniece, Miss Sylvia Olson. Saturday they will be guest at the Howard
Breiseth home in Monroe, where a Breiseth family reunion is to be held. Mr. and
Mrs. Evanson will also celebrate their 58th wedding anniversary that day.
Mrs. Elsie Beilfuss is planning to leave this weekend for a week’s visit in
Madison with Justice and Mrs. Bruce Beilfuss, and in Chicago, Ill., with her
daughter, Mrs. William Miller and family.
Mrs. Jack Stucki and son, Paul,
of Milwaukee, are spending six months with Mrs. Henry Stucki while her husband
is interning in therapy in Beatty Memorial Hospital, Westfield, Ind. Weekend
guests at the Stucki home were Jack Stucki and friend, Tezell Morris, of
Westfield, Ind., and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Markus of Kewaskum.
Sheriff and
Mrs. David Bertz and family are vacationing in Canada.
Mr. and Mrs. Art
Carl and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Carl and Alan were dinner guests Monday evening of
Mr. and Mrs. Sam Ray and daughter.
