Miss Anita Kuechenmeister will attend college at
Winona, Minn. this year and it is expected she will leave for there next Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. R.T. Washburn and daughter Hazel of Lynn were Sunday guests at
Otto Hantke’s.
Mr. and Mrs. Edward Meihak and Mr. and Mrs. Will Dux of
Globe were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Dux.
Miss Irma Meihak spent
the first half of the week here with her sister Mrs. Ben Dux, assisting with the
meals incident to threshing.
Clemens Kuechenmeister entertained the
threshers on Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. John Goebel and children, Mr. and
Mrs. Clemens Kuechenmeister, Miss Ida Kuechenmeister, Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Wilding
and daughter Alice and two of the latter’s girlfriends and Chas. Rakow autoed to
Stevens Point and Grand Rapids last Sunday. At Stevens Point they visited Miss
Selma Kuechenmeister and called on Mrs. F.F. Steffa, a cousin of Mrs. C.
Kuechenmeister, who is there from Milwaukee, the past two weeks at the
Sanatorium, under the professional care of Dr. and Mrs. Coon, and we are glad to
say, is mending nicely.
