Wolf, Janet (May ?1961)
Married on
Saturday in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church were Janet Jane Wolf and John Albert
Castner, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Castner, Sr. The bride’s parents are Mr. and
Mrs. Frank Wolf. Rev. N. E. King said the Nuptial High Mass.
For the ten
o’clock ceremony the bride chose an ivory satin gown an over-lay of lace with a
lace bodice styled by a scalloped neckline. Her fingertip veil was of nylon
tulle and was secured to a crown of lace and pearls. She held a bouquet of red
roses and lilies of the valley.
Attending the couple were Mrs. Kenneth
Marvin, the bride’s sister and her brother=-in=law, Merlin Gardner. Seating the
guests were Norman Wolf and James Hoffman.
The matron of honor was seen
in a white frock with a bouffant skirt, complimented with mint green appliqués
and she carried a bouquet of white and mint green gardenias.
The young
Mr. and Mrs. Castner were honored at a reception held at K Corners. A dinner and
supper were also served there and a dance was held in the evening at the Kolby
Park Pavillion.
The bride attended Loyal High School and has been
employed at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield. Her husband graduated from the
Loyal High School in 1955 and is presently employed as a mechanic at Mike’s
Standard Station. Following a wedding trip they will make their home in Loyal.
