The
weather for the past two weeks has been anything but pleasant.
Miss Kate
Seman returned to Fond du Lac last Saturday after spending a several weeks visit
at home.
There was a divine service at the town hall here on Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. Geo. M. Redman will entertain the Ladies Aid next Wednesday,
Sept. 5. Everybody is welcome.
Mr. and Mrs. Geo. M. Redman and son
visited Mr. and Mrs. W.P. Boller of Star Corner on Sunday.
Mr. Albert
Scholtz and two little daughters of Rib Falls paid his old home town a visit
from Saturday till Monday.
We were visited by a light frost Friday night,
but not much damage was done in this vicinity.
Mrs. M.A. Blakely is home
again from the hospital and we are glad to report her very much improved.
Mr. Louis Scholtz, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Scholtz, Mrs. Bertha Frechette and Mr.
Geo. Burdick were Neillsville visitors last Friday.
