A.E. Lawrence and wife of Waubena visited friends here last week. They went to the Marshfield fair on Thursday, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Will Rowe.

John Davis, wife and family, and Hank Voight and Mable Teatz spent Sunday at the R. Teatz home.

Mrs. Mae Nutting and daughter of Loyal visited friends here last week.

Will Rowe and wife and Mrs. Forest Rowe were business callers at Neillsville Tuesday.

E.M. Schoenfeld and wife and Abie Turner and wife attended the movies at Neillsville Sunday and Tuesday evening.

Rollie Rondorf, who has been in Minnesota the last 8 months, has been drafted and is home on a visit to his father until Uncle Sam calls him.

Mr. John Vandeberg returned from Rochester, Minn., last Friday and reports that his wife stood the operation fine and is improving nicely.

Sid and Herbert Free attended the movies at Neillsville Tuesday evening.

George Mortimer and his mother autoed to Greenwood Monday and George tot a hired man to help with fall work.

Walter Bros. of Heintown have been building a cellar wall for Ray Mortimer.
