Rauk, Jesse David (2 August 1984 -10 October 2012)

Jesse D. Rauk, 28, of Neillsville, died Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012, at the Black River Memorial Hospital.

Jess David Rauk was born Aug. 2, 1984, in Waukesha, the son of Robert and Laurie (Perry) Rauk. Jesse and his family moved to Neillsville in 1995. He graduated from Neillsville High School in 2003.

Jesse was a kind, gentle, honest young man who was well liked by everyone. His passion in life was collecting old cars, but he also loved the outdoors and anything to do with the outdoors, from canoeing to camping to backpacking. Jesse was a hands-on man who loved to work on his house and fix his old cars. He also enjoyed animals, especially his cat and dog, being on his computer and reading his Bible.

He is survived by his parents, Robert and Laurie Rauk of Neillsville; one brother, Thomas Perry of Neillsville; and a sister, Christine Rauk of Neillsville. Jesse is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Thomas and Evelyn Perry of Muskego.

Funeral services for Jesse were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at Living Hope Evangelical Free Church in Neillsville with Pastor Steven Wentz officiating and music provided by Kathy Meshnick, pianist. Visitation was from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday at the church. Interment was in the Marie Louise Chapel Cemetery in the Town of Weston.

Online condolences may be made at www.geschefh.com.
