Frank
August Hedemark was born in Chicago, IL, Nov. 12, 1909, to Henry and Hanna
(Bender) Hedemark. He attended schools in Chicago, graduating from Crane

Stewart-Warner Company for 19 years. Frank was united in marriage to Olga Hribar
Sep. 22, 1934, in Chicago. In 1945, he and his wife, Olga, moved to Greenwood
and farmed for two years before returning to Chicago. Frank was employed by
Standard Coil Products in 1947. In 1956, Frank was given the opportunity to

Standard Coil plant. He worked in Canada for 17 years before retiring in 1972.
After retirement, the Hedemarks relocated to Rock Dam, where they lived until
