Sperling, Ronald A. (14 JAN 1939 – 18 OCT 2012)
Ronald A. Sperling,
Age 73, of Withee, died unexpectedly Thursday, October 18, 2012 at Aspirus
Hospital in Wausau. A funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 23,
2012 at the Maurina Schilling Funeral Home in Owen. A visitation will be held
from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
Ronald was
born January 14, 1939 to Walter and Norma (Whittemore) Sperling in Withee. He
received his education at French Town School. Ronald was joined in marriage to
Arlene Mueller on April 22, 1967 in Withee. Thru the years he was owner and
operator of milk trucks and lumber hauling trucks. He worked for Kraft Pizza and
later he was a driver for Comfort Carriers.
He enjoyed the outdoors:
hunting and fishing; and was an avid Packers fan. Most of all he enjoyed
spending time with his family and friends.
Ronald is lovingly survived by
his wife of 45 years, Arlene, his daughters: Denise (Paul) Todd, Darla Schrock,
and Cindy (Paul) Gruhlke; his grandchildren: Tasha (Jon) Johnson, Kimberly
(Jayme) Marten, Jessie Knoll, Allen Gruhlke, Jonathon Gruhlke, Ryan Schrock,
Brett Gruhlke, Christopher Schrock, Shania Schrock, and Jakota Todd. He is
further survived by his great grandchildren: Kylia Nordlof, Shawn Schrock,
Haylee Marten, Brianna Marten, and Bryher Churkey; his sister, Shirley (Les)
Craven, and brother, William Sperling.
Ronald is preceded in death by
his parents and his brothers-in-law: Gerry Mueller, Harry Mueller, Richard
Mueller, and Alvin Mueller.
