Miss Lillie Opelt entertained the Busy Bee
Embroidery Club Sat.
Miss Elsie Neitzel came over from Merrillan and
spent Saturday and Sunday under the parental roof.
Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Gotter were victims of a
pleasant surprise party on Wednesday eve. Jan. 6th, it being their 35th wedding
anniversary. All report a very pleasant time.
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Nitschke are on the sick list.
The Misses Emma and Etta Altenburg spend Sunday
afternoon with relatives at East Lynn.
Willard Christman was a visitor here Tuesday.
Wm. Nitschke had the misfortune to lose one of
his best cows last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Gotter are reported among the
sick this week.
Miss Martha Nitschke returned home Friday after a
two weeks visit with her sister in Milwaukee.
Those from here who attended the First National
Bank meeting at Neillsville Tuesday were John Ure, John Martin, Fred Hankey, Max
Opelt, and son Arthur, and R.T. Washburn.
Mr. and Mrs. Mot Osgood and children went to
Pittsville to visit relatives, Friday and returned Mon.
Mrs. F.A. Downing left Sat. for Atlanta after a
several days visit with her sister Mrs. R. T. Washburn.
