Bremer, Ray
Ray Bremer, or rather a young man giving his name
as such, is now in jail serving a 60 day sentence for hiring a horse and buggy
of Tom Gibson at Chili and later abandoning it. The young man hired the horse
and then disappeared and the rig was later found in the country on the road
side. Gibson had a warrant sworn out for his arrest and Bremer was apprehended
at Lindsey and lodged in the county jail. It is learned that the fellow is
wanted at Stevens Point, Portage and other places for various crimes and
District Attorney Rush and Sherriff Harry Hewett are investigating his past
record.---Neillsville Times.
