Herman Smith helped Truman Davis cut furnace wood
one day last week.
Elwin Root entertained the wood sawyers last week
Friday.
Some one had the nerve to swipe John Hefty’s lap
robe. Archie Howard found it in his buggy and returned it.
Mrs. Truman Davis spent last Friday with Mrs.
Grace Corey at the J. Breese home.
The Mesdames Ed Ackerman, Geo. Frei, John Hefty
and Fred Foemmel Jr. attended the feather bee at Mrs. Gerzemehie’s one day last
week.
A few of Mrs. Fred Foemmel Jr. friends gave her a
surprise party Monday evening in honor of her birthday.
Mrs. Ackerman received word from her daughter
Lillie that her sister Nora who is with her in Chicago is quite sick with
stomach trouble and as soon as she is able will come home.
Mary Hefty spent Sunday afternoon with Ella
Ackerman.
Mrs. Joe Krause and children are sick with colds.
Our warm weather also has a bad cold.
