Wayne Kelty and Kristine Stowe of Ionia, Mich. were married Saturday, May 26, 1962 at 2:30 p.m. in Ionia, Mich. The ceremony took place in the Baptist Church there.

The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Carol Stowe of Ionia, and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kelty of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), formerly of the town of Beaver.

The couple is now residing in Kansas City, Mo. where Mr. Kelty is employed for TWA Airlines. He has been attending school there since Easter. The bride will be employed a as registered nurse in a hospital there.

The groom is a 1951 graduate of Loyal High School and the bride attended high school in Michigan. She is a 1961 graduate of St. Joseph’s School of Nursing, Marshfield.

A nuptial shower was given in their honor Tuesday evening at the Missionary Baptist Church in rural Greenwood by Mrs. Gordon Flemming and Mrs. Nile Brandt. It was attended by friends from Greenwood, Loyal, Marshfield and the town of Beaver.
