Pospisiel, Dean Wayne (30 September 1966 - 1 October 2012)

Dean Wayne Pospisiel, 46, of Black River Falls, died Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at Black River Memorial Hospital.

Dean was born Sept. 30, 1966, in Wisconsin Rapids to Donald and Linda (McMahon) Pospisiel. He graduated from Black River Falls High School in 1985. After graduation he lived in Colorado before returning to Wisconsin where he lived in La Crosse and later in Neillsville. Dean married Angela Tollefson Sept. 27, 2003, at Lunda Park in Black River Falls.

Dean worked as a counselor at Sunburst in Neillsville, Lutheran Social Services, and at the time of his death he was employed by Western Wisconsin Cares as a counselor (Life coach) for adults with disabilities.

Dean’s greatest joy was the time he spent with his family. He was an artist, both painting and drawing, musician, writer, and was an excellent break dancer in his youth. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and reading.

Dean is survived by his wife Angie, one daughter Amber (David) Harwell of Eau Claire; three sons, Nathaniel Price Weikert-Pospisiel of Greensboro, Jared Elmhorst of Black River Falls and Ian Johnson, Black River Falls; one grandson, Hayden Harwell; his father Donald Pospisiel of Black River Falls. He is further survived by two sisters, Laura (Randy) Roginski of Petenwell and Lisa (Rick) Bolen of Black River Falls, as well as several loving nieces and nephews.

Dean was preceded in death by his mother Linda, and his Grandma and Grandpa McMahon and Grandma and Grandpa Pospisiel.

A memorial service for Dean was held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012, at Buswell Funeral home. Services were conducted by Pastor Eric Bakken. Visitation was from 11 a.m. until the time of services.

Honorary pallbearers were Nate Weikert-Pospisiel, Jared Elmhorst, Ian Johnson, Kevin Hart, Kurt Kann, Rick Bolen and Tim Decorah.
