Brittany Nicole Boyer and Mitchell Richard Mews were united in marriage on August 18, 2012, at First United Church of Christ, Colby. Pastor Teri Hanson officiated.

Brittany is the daughter of Kevin and Denise Boyer, Unity. She is a 2005 graduate of Colby High School and has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from UW-Eau Claire in 2009. She is currently employed as a public health nurse at the Clark County Health Department.

Mitchell is the son of Kevin Mews, Colby and Sharon Mews, Athens. He is a 2005 graduate of Colby High School and is the owner of Mitch Mews Trucking.

A reception was held at Wildwood Station/Pavillion, Marshfield. They plan to honeymoon in the Dominican Republic in December.

They currently reside in Spencer.
