Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Bergeman Funeral Home in Neillsville
for Miss Alice Plank, 56, formerly of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), who died
Friday morning in the University Hospital at Madison. Terrance McCreedy, student
pastor at the United Church of Christ officiating and burial was made in the
Greenwood Cemetery.
Miss Plank, who was a native of the Greenwood area, had been telephone operator
for the Greenwood Telephone Co. for a number of years. She was also employed at
Rellis IGA Store in Loyal for several years.
Survivors are her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Plank, Neillsville; four
sister, Mrs. Helen Francis, Neillsville; Mrs. Charles (Dorothy) Neuenfeldt,
Spencer; Mrs. Mildred Carney, Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. John (Margaret) Richards,
Mount Prospect, Ill. A brother, James Plank, preceded her in death.
