Reyes, Bertha Mae “Berdie” (11 December 1928 - 15 October 2012)
Bertha Mae “Berdie” Reyes (nee Biddle), beloved mother and grandmother, passed
away peacefully October 15, 2012, at Luther Manor with family by her side.
Bertha was born December 11, 1928, in Reseburg, WI, to the late Dennis and Olga
Biddle. Bertha grew up on a farm in Reseburg. She graduated from Thorp High
School in 1947.
After moving to Milwaukee, she worked a t Briggs and Stratton, a Jewish center
for troubled teens, and also took care of elderly people and children in their
homes.
Bertha enjoyed going up north to her travel trailer where she enjoyed fishing,
spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening,
playing cards, garage sales, watching the Brewers and Packers play. She loved to
travel and spend time with her grandchildren.
Bertha is survived by her four children: Dennis Graham of CA, Cary Graham
(Roslyn) of Oak Cr eek, WI, Delane Skinner (George) of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, and
Dan R. Fox of Londale, MN; 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, nieces,
nephews; one sister, Dorothy; one brother, Fred, AZ; and many friends.
Bertha was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Raymond; aunts, uncles
and cousins.
Services will be done privately with family.
Special thanks go out to Luther Manor and Hospice staff. Also to the Frese
family for all they have done through the years.
Bertha will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
