Treichel, M.L. (Accident - 5 SEP 1917)
M.L. Treichel, who in his Dodge Roadster last the race on the fairgrounds
Wednesday afternoon went back to the track at 9 o'clock that evening and,
speeding thereon, lost control of his car which went up the embankment at the
south side of the track and was badly wrecked. The injured man suffering a
broken leg and other injuries was hastily removed to the Neillsville Hospital
where it is thought he will recover.
