W.R. Happe and family and Albert Lindow autoed to Wausau last Thursday and attended the fair.

Chas. Schuster and Earl Drake drove to Marshfield Saturday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Fields and son and Miss Hazel Sparks spent Sunday at Sherman Davis'.

Ira and Howard Brown spent Sunday with Clare Davis.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Lee entertained a houseful of company on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. G. Davis and family autoed to Marshfield Sunday.

John Fischer and son John of Veefkind were through here Saturday posting auction bills.

John Lewis of Marshfield was in this vicinity purchasing horses Saturday.

Otto Schmidtke purchased a new corn binder recently, so he is prepared for a frost.

Wm. Zorn delivered some stock to Chili on Monday.

There was a shower at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lem Curtis Tuesday evening in honor of the newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Rowe.

Walter drake and wife were Loyal visitors on Tuesday.

Three auto loads of Grantonites were sightseeing through here on Sunday.

Nate Drake brought down a load of lumber from Maplehurst the first of the week for their new house here.
