Miss Clara Garbisch came home from Rochester, Minn. last Friday.
School will commence Sept. 10th in District No. 4, with Miss Daphne Beeckler as
teacher.
Miss Adeline Garbisch spent a few days visiting with friends at Neillsville.
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Gluch and Mr. and Mrs. Dan Gluch were Neillsville callers
Tuesday.
Mrs. Carl Loeffler called on Mrs. Herman Gluch on Tuesday.
Mr. Aug. Gluch and daughter Emma from Neillsville came out to help Carl Loeffler
thresh last Monday
Mrs. Ed Prange called on Mrs. F.D. Riedel last Friday afternoon.
Oswald Pischer and Henry Garbisch both are busy repairing the schoolhouse.
Mr. Geo. Reindel and son Clarence are busy hauling in grain at William
Schoengarth's.
Mrs. Herman Gluch helped Mrs. Ed Schroeder last Thursday.
Paul Garbisch was taken suddenly and seriously ill last Friday and was rushed to
the Eau Claire hospital where he underwent a successful operation for acute
appendicitis. At last report he was doing nicely.
