Aug. Walters of Lindsey was around selling silos on Tuesday.
Aug. Dankemyer was here Tuesday adjusting losses done by lightning.
Dan Brooks has his left eye done up. It was so bad that Dr. Housley lanced a
gathering on the lower lid.
The church was filled Sunday evening with people who listened to the program the
young people gave. They did well. They only organized the last Sunday in June
and now have a membership of 28.
School started this week with Mr. Jay Waterman as teacher.
J. Davis has turned painter and is smearing his house white.
Otto Rupno and Paul Bealer are back from Lidgerwood, N.D.
They are making cement sidewalks in Chili this week.
Fred Hilisand and family were entertained at J. Davis' Sunday.
Joe Hutt is digging his celar out to lay a wall so he can move his house over on
it.
Doris Green was operated on for adenoids last Wednesday.
Mrs. Jennie Hallock and Mrs. Laura Beil both have been troubled with an
ulcerated tooth. It made their faces swell and was very painful.
Rev. H. Ambrose will preach at Nasonville next Sunday at 3:30 p.m. All are
invited.
Lost -- between my place and Chili, a burr off a wagon wheel. Finer please let
