The Clark County Journal reports that the hail storm of last week did more damage to the crops in that county than was generally supposed. Several very fine pieces of wheat were entirely destroyed....The recent rains have made a good raise in Black River, and some of its tributaries. The log and lie drivers have had a fine raise for their work.. . .There is considerable sickness among the children of Neillsville at present.
