Lee, Donna (10 October 1937 - 17 October 2012)

Donna Lee, nee Kissling, 75, formerly of Neillsville, died of natural causes Oct. 17, 2012, in Pompano Beach, FL.

Mrs. Lee was born Oct. 10, 1937, in Neillsville to Harry and Alice Kissling. She and her brother Ernest Kissling shared many happy years growing up together on the Kissling family farm. She graduated from Neillsville High School and later earned a degree in nursing from Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing in Eau Claire and a bachelor’s degree in women’s studies from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. She later moved to Pompano Beach, FL, where she established a long, distinguished career as a registered nurse, specializing in surgery at North Ridge Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She was very highly regarded as a nurse, manager, mentor and friend to many at North Ridge Hospital.

In addition, she was a beloved mother and grandmother survived by her son, Patrick (Angela) Lee; daughter, Julie (Mark) Reese; granddaughters, Sadie, Molly and Caitlin Reese; sister-in-law, Jane Kissling; and nephew, Michael (Patti) Kissling.
