Frederick Anthony Stutte, 94, died at 3 a.m. Tuesday morning in St. Joseph's
Hospital, Marshfield, of old age complications. He had been a patient there for
the past week.
Funeral services will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock at St. Anthony's
Catholic Church with Rev. Norbert E. King officiating. Burial will be in the
parish cemetery.
Friends may call at the Myre Funeral Home ginning Wednesday evening. A general
rosary service will be held there Thursday evening at 8 o'clock.
Mr. Stutte was born March 15, 1868 at Eagle and was married at St. Mary's Ridge
to Ann Degenhardt on June 13, 1899. They farmed in Norwalk for ten years, after
which they came to a farm south of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.). They lived their
until 1937, when they came to the city of Loyal, where they have since resided.
The home farm is now operated by his son Hugo. Mr. and Mrs. Stutte celebrated
their golden wedding anniversary in 1949 and their 60th anniversary in 1959. He
was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and its Holy Name Society.
Survivors, besides his wife, include three daughters Mrs. Ben (Clara) Clouse,
Mrs. Alex (Hilda) Loos, both of Loyal, and Miss Lura Stutte of Chicago; a son
Hugo of Loyal; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a brother,
Joseph Stutte of Eagle.
Two brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
