Mrs. James Anderson of Caldwell, Idaho died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 1962 at Caldwell.
Funeral services were held there Friday. Mrs. Anderson is the daughter of Mrs.
Belle Smith of Loyal, who died on the day of her funeral.
The former Viola Smith was born April 21, 1907 at Phillips and at the age of
four came with her parents to a farm east of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.). She
attended public schools in this area and was graduated from Loyal High School
and Oshkosh State Teacher's College. She taught school for two years at Rosholt
and in 1929 was married to James Anderson of Rosholt. In 1953 the couple moved
to Caldwell, Idaho where they have resided until the time of her death.
She is survived by her husband, two daughters, five grandchildren, three
brothers, Robert Smith of Loyal and Glen and Eugene of Racine; and one sister,
Mrs. Wilbur Rundle of Racine. Her mother, Mrs. Belle Smith, survived her by
three days.
