----- Martens, Linda (Resuscitated - 10 AUG 1962)
A call for the resuscitator was answered Friday evening about 6:30 by firemen
Mike Weyhmiller and Neil Johnston. They transported the resuscitator to the
Richard Martens farm on route 1, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), where ten year old
Linda Martens was suffering from a severe attack of asthma.
After applying oxygen, they felt that the attack was too severe to be handled at
home and called the ambulance. She was taken to St. Jsoeph's Hospital at
Marshfield where she received emergency treatment and was released Saturday
morning. Mrs. Martens expressed her gratefulness for the services of the
resuscitator.
