Judith was born on December 22, 1949 in Colby, the daughter of Walter and Norma (Smart) Schillinger. She was a 1968 graduate of Abbotsford High School. Judie's greatest accomplishment was having her son Joseph and she enjoyed camping and fishing with him and being a den mother for the Cub Scouts. She was employed at Weyerhaeuser Corporation in Marshfield, then at Edgar Basket Factory, and later at General Shoes in Stratford. Judie enjoyed gardening, tending to her many flowers, going for walks, biking, and especially her cat, Star who was with her for many years. She was a devout church goer and loved helping out. Gambling was a great pass time for her and she was always lucky in Las Vegas.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church where she volunteered, served as a den mother for the Cub Scouts, and was a Heritage Trail member.

Judie is survived by her very close friend of many years and her caregiver, Jim Harwood. She is also survived by her siblings, Gloria (Leonard) Frahm, Jr. of Athens, Nancy Boutain of Abbotsford, Beverly Ange of Athens, Dave Schillinger of Wausau, Audrey (Elroy) Heldt and Colleen Hein, all of Athens, Darrell (Rhetta) Schillinger and Marlene (Jack) Kramas, all of Abbotsford, Daniel (Nanci) Schillinger of Fenwood, Dean (Susy) Schillinger of Cedar Rapids, IA, and Walter (Brenda) Schillinger of La Crosse. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her son Joey Schillinger, her husband Donny, her parents, Walter and Norma Schillinger, a brother, Dennis in infancy, a brother-in-law, Richard Hein, a nephew, Elroy Heldt, Jr., a niece, Daphne Hein and a great nephew, Chandler.
