Mr. and Mrs. Clem Montag visited their children in Chili this week.

Clark Brooks autoed to Merrillan and Wrightsville with Mrs. R.C. Norman, Martha Sternitzky and Elda Viergutz and Mrs. Mary Norman. The latter remained in Merrillan for a week's visit with friends.

Miss Hazel Washburn entertained the Carnation Art Club Saturday afternoon.

Misses Bertha and Elda Helm, with their Grandpa Sternitzky, left last Sunday for Forest Junction to visit their brother Carl.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Heal and children Gerald, Byron and Harriet of Spencer were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. R.T. Washburn.

Mr. and Mrs. John Martin and daughters Ruby and Gertrude were shopping in Neillsville Friday.

J.L. Keller returned from his trip to St. Paul and Minneapolis on Monday.

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Opelt, Mrs. Opelt and son Carl visited friends in Lynn on Sunday.

Mrs. Ferd Helm and children autoed to Neillsville Saturday afternoon.

Those from here who transacted business at Marshfield the past week were Herman Schultz, Paul Folz, Albert Marg, R.T. Washburn.

Henry Sternitzky and son Walter, with John Ure in the former's auto, went to Grand Rapids Tuesday on business.

Mrs. John Lenhardt has been sick and confined to her bed for several days. Dr. Murphy of Granton attended her.
