Kurth, Fred (15 APR 1881 - 28 JAN 1915)

Fred Kurth died last Thursday at his home on 6th Street. He was born to Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kurth at Black River Falls on April 15, 1881. Was united in marriage to Miss Emma Steinberg 13 years ago and to this union six children were born. Deceased was a man of many good traits and among his immediate circle of friends he was generally liked and respected. He is survived by his wife and children, his parents and the following brothers and sisters: Arthur, Mrs. Chas. Kapka, Mrs. Everett Kelly, Miss Julia Kurth, Mrs. Berlin of Stockton, Cal., and Mrs. Neverman of Fresno, Cal. The funeral was held Monday afternoon, services being conducted at the German Lutheran church, of which he was a member. Interment was made in the Neillsville Cemetery.
