West Levis (4 Feb 1915)

The community was greatly shocked to hear of the death of Mrs. Kicherer, who died in Pine Valley Saturday.

Will Siems is delivering bolts to the Neillsville plaining mill.

A large number of farmers from here attended the big lunch and speaking at Neillsville Saturday.

Harry Gehrt and wife spent Sunday with the latter’s sister, Mrs. Ward Lockman.

There are about twelve teams from Shortville hauling gravel out of Pannenbecker’s gravel pit. J. Dwyer of Neillsville is bossing the crew.

Legare Apfel was again seen driving through here Sunday on his way to Columbia.

Frank Cummings called on Will Gehrt Sunday afternoon.

One of Mr. Boyd’s hired men left for his home at Hillsboro.

The oyster supper held at Mr. Dahl’s Saturday evening was well attended in spite of the bad weather.
