Byron Selves and Miss Ruth Anderson pulled off a surprise wedding on Jan. 6th , and last week made a public announcement of the happy event. Mr. Selves and Miss Anderson were married at St. Paul on the 6th and have kept the wedding a secret ever since. However, Byron had gone to Montana where he has bought out an abstract and real estate business and as they expected soon to go there to take up housekeeping, Mr. and Mrs. Selves announced their marriage.

Mr. Selves is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Selves of this city and has grown to young manhood here. He is a graduate of the city schools and one of the very finest of Neillsville’s young men. For some time past he has been secretary of the Burnett County Abstract Co. at Grantsburg. He is industrious and capable and all of Bike’s friends here confidently expect to hear big things of him some time. His wife is one of the most prominent young ladies of Grantsburg and at the time of her marriage was a senior at Hamile University. She was prominent in college social circles and Grantsburg society and those who know her speak in the highest terms of praise of her. The best wishes of the friends of the young people are cordially extended to them.
