November 15, 1924, Dale Fauser married Lorraine Margaret Vitoux (b. 3 Jan 1924, Odell, Livingston, Illinois, d. 8 Jun 2004) in Columbus, Columbia Co., Wis.).

After marriage, Dale and Lorraine resided in Crown Point, Lake Co., Indiana. He worked for Letz Manufacturing during the war years and later managed the Auto body Shop for Art Hill Ford for 25 years and was part owner of a Tavern in Cedar Lake, Indiana. Three of their four children were born in Indiana. In 1961, the family moved to Greenwood, Clark County, Wisconsin, to a farm they had purchased in Sec. 32 of  Beaver Township, from Theodore and Verna Abel.  Lorraine's aunt and uncle, (Anna & Philenus Westby) and several of her cousins had already been farming there for many years.  Her brother, Howard Vitoux, his wife, Betty, and their family also moved nearby a few years later.

In 1965, they sold their property to  Dennis and Naomi Colby and moved to Athens, Wisconsin where their fourth and youngest child was born and Dale once again managed an auto body shop. In 1967, they moved to Fall River, Columbia Co., Wisconsin where they later purchased a home on the lake there. January 30, 1998, Dale died of kidney failure and complications from diabetes. Father: Benjamin Bidwell

Spouse: Ann S. Squier Bidwell (1821-8 Jan 1892 (aged 70–71) in Buffalo, Erie County, New York, USA

One hundred and fifty years ago Buffalo's Bidwell & Banta shipyard built some of the largest and most luxurious wooden side-wheel steamboats in the world. These "Palace Steamers" rivaled the best of the ocean-going steamers of the Atlantic coast and were part of the romance of Buffalo's role as the gateway to the west.

Vincent Jonathan Bidwell (12 Jul 1816-23 May 1887), was born to Capt. Benjamin H. Bidwell (8 May 1790-21 Dec 1862) and Jane Elizabeth Harvey (1 Aug 1791-4 Mar 1875) in Buffalo, Erie Co., NY.  He married Ann Sarah Squires (1821-1892) in 1840 in Buffalo, Erie, NY.  They became the parents of Charles Howell Bidwell, 1841–1904; Emily Bidwell, 1843–0?; and Eveline Bidwell (1864–?).

Vincent died at the age of seventy and was buried in plot sec. 1, lot 33 of the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Buffalo, Erie Co., NY.

Jane Elizabeth Harvey Bidwell--b. 1 Aug 1791 in VT and died at the age of 83, 4 Mar 1875.

Obituary: In our Second Edition last evening was announced the death of Mrs. Jane Bidwell, which took place yesterday at her residence on Cottage Street. Mrs. Bidwell had been ill but two or three days. Her age was nearly eight-four years.
Deceased was the widow of the late Benjamin Bidwell, of the old firm of Bidwell & Banta, the pioneer ship-builders, we believe, at this port. "She came from Connecticut to Buffalo in 1810, and was therefore properly classed among our oldest residents. She lived here during the war of 1812, and on the night of the burning of Buffalo was obliged to flee from her home to escape the savages, which she did, carrying her eldest son, the late John Bidwell, than an infant, in her arms. She had nine children--among them the lamented General D. D. Bidwell, killed at Cedar Creek, whil bravely fighting for the Union--but four of which we believe are now living, viz.: Benjamin S., Vincent, Charles and Alfred B.
Mrs. Bidwell was honored and respected by all who knew her, and although she had passed the allotted span and could not have been expected to remain much longer, still her death occasions deep sorrow throughout a large circle of relatives and friends.
The funeral will take place from No. 48 on Cottage Street,, on Sunday next, at 2 o'clock.
