Fred I. Cox, Sr., 62, of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), died at his home about 1:30
Monday afternoon of a stroke.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church with
Rev. A. Moldenhauer officiating. Burial will be in the Loyal Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Myre Funeral Home until noon Thursday when the body will
be taken to the church to lie in state until time of services.
Mr. Cox was born Nov. 3, 1899 in the town of Omro, was educated there, and lived
there until the time of his marriage to Minna Meyer on June 7, 1922. The couple
lived at Greshman until 1923 when they came to Loyal, where Mr. Cox was engaged
in the livestock business. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and served
as a trustee for many years.
He is survived by his wife; one son, Fred Cox, Jr. of Loyal; three grandsons;
one sister, Miss Sadie Cox of Oshkosh; and three brothers, John Cox, Omro, Joe
Cox, Beaver Dam, N.Y.; and Mrlvin Cox, Renton, Wash.
