Matrimonial vows were exchanged by Marlene Mae Morrison, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Lester Morrison, route 1, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), and Ralph Edward
Wolf, son of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Wolf, Route 1, Chili, Saturday, Sept. 15, 1962,
at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church at Loyal. Rev. Norbert E. King
officiated and the church choir sang.
The bride, carrying a cascade arrangement of red and white carnations and lily
of the valley, entered the church in a gown of tulle and lace over satin, styled
with a rounded neckline. Her shoulder length veil of tulle was secured to a
crown headpiece of sequins and pearls.
Attendants at the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Tiry of Oshkosh. For the
occasion the matron of honor wore a blue net lace over blue taffeta frock,
having a satin cummerbund with a scoop neckline. Her flowers were pink and white
carnations.
Ushers were Ray Morrison and Richard Wolf.
Wedding day events included a dinner, reception and supper at the home of the
bride's parents, and a dance at Chili Corners.
The bride attended Loyal High School and the groom received his education at
Mayflower and Granton High Schools. Currently he is engaged in farming on route
1, Chili, where the newlyweds are residing.
Wedding guests came from Spencer, Loyal Marshfield, Granton, Chili, Bakerville,
Oshkosh, Westboro, and other surrounding areas.
