OWEN--Sophie Mathewson of Appleton, formerly of Owen, died August 6, 1998, at
the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen.
Arrangements are pending at Maurina Funeral Home.

OWEN--Sophie Mathewson, 86, Appleton, formerly of Owen, died August 6, 1998, at
the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Owen.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Withee.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Maurina Funeral Home in Owen.
She was born May 2, 1912, in Oregon City, Oregon. She was acook for the Holy
Rosary School Lunch Program for many years.
Surviving are her son, Norman (Nancy) Mathewson of Appleton; two daughters,
Mardelle Mathewson of Appleton and Gale Gagne of Menasha; five graandchildren
and four great-grandchildren.
