Edward Arthur Searvogel, 70, of 2211 S. Maple, Marshfield, died at about 6:40
p.m. Sunday of a heart attack. He was found dead in his trailer house at
Parkview Terrace by neighbors.
Funeral services were scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Anthony's Catholic
Church with Rev. Norbert E. King officiating, and burial in the parish cemetery.
The Myre Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Graveside military rites
were conducted by American Legion Post 175.
Mr. Searvogel was born Aug. 21, 1892 in Waupun, Fond du Lac County and was
married to Nellie Ryan on June 18, 1930 at St. Anthony's Church, Loyal. A
veteran of World War I, he farmed in the Waupun area until several years before
his marriage, when he came to the Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.) area. He lived here
until five years ago when he moved to Marshfield. He was a member of Sacred
Heart Catholic Church at Marshfield. Mrs. Searvogel died in November of 1960.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Jane) Gray of Milwaukee; one
granddaughter, Gail; and one sister, Mrs. John (Winnie) Riel of Waupun.
