----- Cook, Elwin H. (22 MAY 1897 - 8 OCT 1962)
Elwin Harry Cook, 65, of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), died at his home Monday
evening of a heart attack. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday
at the Loyal Methodist Church with Rev. Paul Doering officiating. Burial will be
in the Loyal Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Myre Funeral Home where the body is lying in state until
noon Thursday, when it will be taken to the church to await the time of
services.
Mr. Cook was born May 22, 1897 at Loyal and was married here on Oct. 15, 1925 to
Katy Miles. He lived most of his life on a farm near Loyal, except for a few
years which were spent in Montana.
He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Jerome (Wanda) Bentzler, Madison; a
son, Russell, Loyal; eleven grandchildren; one brother, Price Cook, Sidney,
Montana; two sisters, Mrs. John (Belle) Mengel, Bozeman, Montana; Mrs. V.C.
(Elsie) Ivie, National City, Calif. One sister preceded him in death.
