----- Weyer, Joan M. (13 OCT 1962)

Joan Marie Weyer and LaVerne Lindner, both of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), who were married at St. Anthony's Catholic Church Saturday, will be making their home on route 2, Loyal, following a honeymoon trip through the western states.

The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Weyer, Loyal and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Casper Lindner, Loyal, exchanged wedding vows before Rev. Norbert E. King during a Nuptial High Mass which was sung by the church choir. The altar was decorated with baskets of yellow and white gladiolas.

As the bride was presented in marriage by her father, she was wearing a floor length gown of Chantilly lace with a jewel trimmed bateau neckline on the basque bodice and a full hoop skirt of lace over taffeta with net ruffles caught up at intervals by self-fabric roses, completed at the lower back by a nylon tulle flounce.

A double tiered crown of aurora borealis crystals and pearls held her fingertip French illusion veil. She carried a bouquet of red and white roses.

Jacqueline Lindner, a sister of the groom from Loyal, was the maid of honor, with Andrea Wehe and Shirley Weyer, a sister of the bride, as bridesmaids. They were seen in romance blue street length formals of silk organza over taffeta, styled with scoop necklines, cummerbunds and fully gathered skirts. Their gowns were completed with bolero jackets having a satin bow trim. Their headpieces were multi-tiered jewel trimmed crowns with halo veils and their floral arrangements were umbrellas with yellow and white gardenias.

A sister of the bride, Kristine Weyer, was flower girl, and Dennis Lindner, the groom's nephew, was the ring bearer.

The mothers of the bridal pair wore blue dresses with feather hats.

A dinner and supper were served in the church dining hall and a reception during the afternoon as given at the home of the bride's parents. A dance was held that evening at the Silver Dome Ballroom at Neillsville.

The bride and groom are graduated from the Loyal and Greenwood High Schools, respectively. The new Mrs. Lindner was employed at Dave's Super Market at Loyal and her husband is engaged in farming.
