Wucki, Irene (Marriage - 12 August 1967)
Miss Irene Wucki of Oshkosh, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wucki of Rt. 3,
Neillsville, exchanged nuptial vows Saturday in Zion Lutheran Church in Granton
with Robert Linstedt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Linstedt of Rt. 1 Larsen.
The Rev. E. T. Keller of Pittsville performed the ceremony at 2 o’clock. Mrs.
Roger Tyler sang, “The Lord’s Prayer” and “O Perfect Love,” accompanied by Mrs.
Leland Garbisch. The bride, holding an arrangement of roses and ivy, was attired
in an organza and Chantilly lace dress. The bell-shaped skirt of lace featured a
pearl-studded panel in the skirt front. The bodice was enhanced with lace
appliquéd three-quarter-length sleeves. A crown of lace and pearls held her
chapel-length, bouffant train.
Carolyn Hartman of Oshkosh, maid-of-honor; Miss Patricia Schultz of Oshkosh and
Mrs. Joanne Kraus of Neenah, bridesmaids, were seen in maize floor-length gowns
that featured boat necklines, bell sleeves and a-line empire waist skirts.
Embroidery trimmed the empire waistline. Their bouffant illusion chin veils were
attached to petal hats. Each carried a bouquet of white and orchid
chrysanthemums.
Lyle Linstedt of Larsen was best man. Groomsmen were Walter Wucki of Oshkosh and
Gerald Kraus of Neenah, Gregg Hartman of Oshkosh and James Clausing of Neenah
ushered.
Wedding events included a dinner in the church hall and a dance in the evening
at Hatfield. The bride, a 1963 graduate of Neillsville High School, has been
employed in Oshkosh. Mr. Linstedt, a 1960 graduate of Winneconne High School, is
engaged in farming.
On their return from a wedding trip to Canada and Expo ’67, they will reside on
Rt. 1 Larsen.
