Mr. and Mrs. Mike Plautz of Eau Claire were recent visitors at the Roger
Djubenski home.
Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Lesar and family of Eau Claire were guests of his folks,
Mr. and Mrs. John Lesar.
A2/c Robert G. Trunkel of Antigo AFS spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. J. F. Trunkel and family.
Miss Collette Bayuk of Marshfield spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Edward Bayuk.
Mr. and Mrs. Fredrick Krembs and family of Huntsville, Ala., are visiting her
parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Lesar. Roberta Lesar who had spent some time with
them returned home.
Mr. and Mrs. Matt Gregorich and Mrs. Mary Gregorich spent several days with
relatives in Dubuque, Zwingli and Bernard, Ia.
Carol Dergance, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Dergance of Willard, has entered
an Eau Claire beauty school.
Some oats harvesting has begun in our community. Some are combining, while
others are threshing with their equipment.
The Council for Catholic Men of the Holy Family Catholic Church held their
meeting Sunday night at the West Side Hall. Business matters were discussed and
approved.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Olson and children, Carol and Sam, of Kenosha, were guests
of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pozega and family. They also visited in Fairchild with his
mother, brother and sisters.
It was cold this week, especially in the morning. Some people report as cold as
37 degrees above zero.
Mr. and Mrs. Rudy Volk and their son, Ronald, of Vesper, spent the weekend in
Racine.
