Edward Domine, age 84, Loyal, died at the Neillsville hospital Tuesday, Nov. 6
at 1:15 a.m. Mr. Domine had been a patient for two weeks at the hospital. He
died of old age complications.
The funeral will be held Friday, Nov. 9 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church with
Father Norbert E. King officiating. The body will lie in state at the Myre
Funeral Home beginning Wednesday, Nov. 7. A general rosary will be said at 8:00
p.m. Thursday.
Mr. Domine was born March 29, 1878 at Mankato, Minn. He was married Nov. 22,
1904 to Eleanor Schuld at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. He came to Clark
County as a young man, with his parents. He farmed all his life until 1942, when
he retired and moved to the city of Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.).
He is survived by his wife; five sons, Manuel and Lawrence of Loyal, Arthur of
Perkinstown, Franklin and Edward Jr. of Milwaukee; three daughters, Mrs. Lee
(Verna) Shupe, Mrs. Tony (Evelyn) Shober, Loyal, Mrs. Ben (Helen) Schwellenbach
of Christie; twenty-six grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren; three
sisters, Mrs. William (Mary) Bauer and Mrs. Kate Dasch of Minneapolis, Mrs.
Effie Nietert of Waterloo, Iowa; one brother, John of Waterloo, Iowa. Three
sisters and one brother preceded him in death.
