Bredlau, Emil (07 April 1889-18 May 1961)

Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Myer Funeral Home for Emil Bredlau, 72, of route 2, Spencer, who had died in the Neillsville Memorial Hospital Thursday morning MAY 18. He had been a patient there for several weeks.

Speaker at the services was Ralph Johnson. Burial was made in the Loyal Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Clifford Schiller, William Stute, Richard Wolfe, Lon White, Lloyd Domers and John DOmers.

Mr. Bredlau, who farmed in the Loyal area, was born in the town of Loyal on April 7, 1889 and married at West Bend, Iowa on June 15, 1917 to Marie Bleuer, who survives him.

Other survivors are six daughters, Mrs. Gerhardt (Emily) Lucht, Spencer; Mrs. Edwin (Lucille) Wirtz, Mallard, Iowa; Mrs. Donald (Esther) Frederich, Marshfield; Mrs. Joseph (Dorothy) Lauby, Denver, Colorado; and Mrs. Ed (Arlene) Barker, Madison; four sons; Robert, Owen; Pat, Madison; Gerald, Milwaukee and John, Manistique, Michigan; a sister, Mrs. John Trachte, Columbus, and a brother, John, Spencer.

Two sisters and four brothers preceded him in death.
