Clark Grange No. 749 met in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Rennak Tuesday evening.

Worthy Master Lulu Rennak presided over the business meeting. Minute were read by the secretary, Flossie Schmidtke.

The subject of getting new members was discussed. Plans were made for the Christmas party which will be held in the York Town Hall Dec. 11. It was voted to invite prospects to the party.

After the meeting the Lecturer, Nyle Benedict ahd Grango for the evening entertainment. A pot luck lunc was served later with Mrs. Rennak as hostess. Mrs. Rollie Benedict won the door prize.

Harlan Piggott was taken suddenly ill Friday and was taken to Memorial Hospital at Neillsville where he underwent surgery.

Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Winkle visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Winkle at Stevens Point.

Ladies of the W.S.C.S. of the York Methodist Church held a Thrift and Bake Sale in the York Town Hall Saturday. Doughnuts and coffee were served throughout the day.

Mrs. Frank Daczor spent several days with her husband at Kenosha, Wednesday. She was an overnight guests of her brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wilson at Sussex, returning to the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Holt Thursday.

Relatives attending the funeral of Miss Beulah Lawrence at Platteville Sunday afternoon ere Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Lawrence, Mrs. Ed Voight, and Mrs. Ruth Keller and Mrs. Fern Vandeberg of Neillsville.
