A solemn Requiem High mass was said Monday morning at 10 o'clock for Mrs. Ted Halpin, 57, route 1, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), who died at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, 1962, in St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, where she had been a patient for the past four weeks.

Services were held in St. Anthony's Catholic Church with Rev. Norbert E. King as the Celebrant, Rev. William O'Neill of Chicago as Deacon, and Rev. James Schaefer of Sacred Heart Catholic Church at Marshfield as Sub-deacon. St. Mary's Altar Society members attended in a body. Burial was made in the parish cemetery.

The Myre Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements, with a general rosary service being held there Sunday evening.

Pallbearers were Joe Esselman, David Smith, Alfred Rondorf, Franklin Rueth, Frank Degenhardt and Leon Hoeser.

The former Regina Benda was born Aug. 11, 1905 in Buena Vista, Iowa. She moved to Black River Falls as a child and received her education there. She was employed there for several years before her marriage to Ted Halpin on Nov. 23, 1926 at Alma Center. After their marriage they farmed in Alma Center for ten years before coming to Loyal in 1936, when they settled on a farm in the town of Sherman. Mrs. Halpin was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, St. Mary's Altar Society and the Loyal Garden Club.

She is survived by her husband, two sons, Dennis, Loyal, and William Prairie du Chien; ten grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Glen (Cecilia) Kutchera, Fairchild; Mrs. John (Bernadette) Michels, Lake City, Minn.; three brothers, Cyril Benda and Mercellus Benda, Goodhue, Minn.; Martin Benda, Pearce, Idaho; and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Benda, Goodhue, Minn.

A son, Donald, preceded her in death.

James Schaeffler, Mrs. Alma McDonald, Mrs. Helen Michels, Mr. and Mrs. Larry McDonald, Mrs. Steve McDonald, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Jerry O'Neill, Wis. Rapids; Rev.
