Ulesich, Shirley Mae (Marriage - 26 August 1967)
Miss Shirley Mae Ulesich and Wayne Foemmel, both of Neillsville, were married
Saturday in ceremony in Zion Lutheran Church in Granton. The Rev. E. T. Keller
of Pittsville officiated.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Tony Ulesich of Willard and Mr. and Mrs.
Alfred Foemmel of Neillsville.
Nuptial music was played by Miss Eileen Zank of Neillsville as the bride entered
the church with her father, who gave her in marriage. Mrs. F. E. Baldwin sang,
“O Perfect Love” and “The Wedding Prayer.”
A bridal gown of Chantilly lace over angel mist taffeta was worn by the bride.
The Sabrina neckline and the skirt tiers that ended in chapel train were sequin
trimmed. A billowing veil was secured to a crown of seed pearls and borealis
crystals. She carried a bridal bouquet of red roses.
Mrs. Barbara Lucas of Willard, matron-of-honor, Miss Bonnie Foemmel, Miss Sharon
Dunlap and Miss Claudeen Seebandt, all of Neillsville, bridesmaids, were seen in
melon-colored cage style gowns of georgette over satin. Their small veils were
attached to rose floral headpieces. Each carried a bouquet of white and yellow
chrysanthemums.
Londa and Scott Schlinsog were also in the wedding party as the miniature bride
and groom.
Roger Foemmel of Neillsville served as best man. Groomsmen were LaVerne Ulesich
and William Lucas of Willard and Douglas Lezotte of Sheboygan. Ushers were Frank
Ulesich, Steve Schlinsog, Allen Mills and Duane Arndt.
The bride is a 1964 graduate of Greenwood High School and has been employed in
the Neillsville Bank. The groom, a 1963 graduate of Neillsville High School, is
attending the University of Wisconsin in Madison and plans to graduate in
January 1968 as an electrical engineer.
The newlyweds are making their home in Madison.
