Arthur Phipps and family are enjoying their new Ford car since Friday.
Mrs. Orren Montgomery and son Allen returned home from Fond du Lac and Sheboygan
Counties where they spent the last four weeks visiting relatives and friends.
Miss Jesse Dietrich came with them for a visit.
Mr. and Mrs. M. Dorst took their daughter Nell to Neillsville Thursday where she
entered the hospital and Friday morning for relief from appendicitis and tumors.
At this writing she is recovering nicely.
Arthur Phipps and family ate Sunday dinner with their son George and family.
Miss Jean Davis took the 4 o'clock train Monday morning for Eau Claire where she
will attend the Normal school this year.
Miss Jessie Scoles ate dinner with the M. Dorst family and with them autoed to
Neillsville to see Miss Neil at the hospital. Miss Jessie entered the high
school there Monday morning.
L.A. Schneider sold his factory to a party from Manitowoc County last week.
The Misses Alta and Katie Wright returned to their school duties at Neillsville
Sunday.
Mrs. C.L. Winn and Mrs. Ray Mortimer visited our school Tuesday.
Arthur Phipps and family spent Tuesday morning at Neillsville.
Elsie Dorst spent Wednesday with the Lem Curtis family, assisting them while
they had threshers. She returned home Thursday morning.
A number of the young people of this vicinity attended the box social at the
Garbisch Schoolhouse Friday evening.
Mr. M. Dorst and family called at H.S. Agin's Sunday afternoon.
