Mrs. Wm. Montgomery of
Neillsville answered the final summons Friday night of last week.
Her death resulting from tuberculosis from which she has been a patient
sufferer for years. This dread
malady also caused the death of her beloved daughter a few years since.
Mrs. Montgomery was born Bertha Schoengarth, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs.
Fred Schoengarth here in the town of Grant.
She attended our schools and grew to womanhood here.
Marrying Wm. Montgomery she took up her residence in Neillsville.
To them were born two children.
The husband and one child a boy survive to with her parents, her sister
Mrs. Harry St. Clair, her brothers; Fred,
Paul and Herman mourn the untimely death of this beloved one.
The funeral was held at Neillsville Sunday afternoon and interment made
in the city cemetery beside the body of the daughter gone before.
