MRS. JOHN (ROSE) WALTER OF LOYAL DIES
Mrs. John (Rose) Walter, 79, Division St.,
Loyal, Clark County, died at 12:45 p.m. April 9, 1975 at Memorial
Home, Neillsville, where she had resided for the past 1 years.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 12, at St.
Anthony's Catholic Church, with burial in the Parish Cemetery. The
Rev. Chester Osowski officiated.
Pallbearers were Franklin Walter, Ton Walter Jr., William Horn,
Robert Schmidt, Albert Walter, and Joseph Schmidt.
The Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, was in charge of arrangements.
A Prayer Service was held at the Rinka Funeral Home at 8:15 p.m.
Friday, with a PCCW Service at 3 p.m., and a Knights of Columbus
Prayer Service at 8:45.
The former Rose Schmidt was born Sept. 21, 1895 in the Town of
York. She received her education in the town of York school and
Loyal Parochial school.
She was married to John Walter on Nov. 13, 1917 at Loyal. They
farmed in the Town of York until 1949, when they retired and moved
to the city of Loyal.
She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and its Altar
Society.
Her husband preceded her in death March 6, 1950.
She is survived by one son, Eugene Sr., R. 1, Neillsville, 7
grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren four brothers, Andrew,
Alex, and Edward, Loyal, and George, Marshfield and two sisters,
Mrs. Ray Horn, Loyal, and Mrs. Elsie Adler, Minneapolis.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by one
brother.
