DEBORAH NEWCOMB
Mrs. Deborah Newcomb, mother-in-law of Mr. William Huntley, died at
his residence on Dec. 13th, 1894 at the age of 83 years.
She was born in Morris, Otsego County, N.Y., March 4th, 1811,
married to Martin Newcomb, Jan. 26, 1830. In 1844 they came to
Wisconsin and settled in Washington County, where they resided
until 1855, when they moved to Waushara County. Her husband died in
1863, when she returned to Washington County. She came to Clark
County in 1892 and last July she came to live with William Huntley,
where she died. She was the mother of nine children three of which
survive her George Newcomb, of Globe Mrs. T. E. Skeele, of Coloma,
Wis. and Mrs. Huntley, of this city.
Funeral services were held at the Congregational Church on Sunday
by Revs. Michaels and Foster.
